Airport

Funny Story... the Southwest check-in guy was the same guy that checked us in to go to camp every year. Picture of mom and me at the airport. Aren't we cute!

I'm not quite sure I ate enough tacos...

I just got back from San Antonio. The theme of the trip was fun in the sun! It was a blast. Unfortunately tubing did not happen. Bergheim Camground said it would take 5 and a 1/2 hours to float the Guadalupe. Instead we went on an hour and 1/2 kayak trip. We took the dogs for a LONG walk and ran into a ton of turtles. We played at the pool some, the club has this awesome new outdoor cabana type grill. It was very nice and breezy.
I also got to be the proud daughter of a performer! Mom and 28 other ladies tapped the weekend away. She had rehearsal on Thursday and performances on Friday and Saturday. They did fantastic, both times. This was the jacket mom got to wear in the tap recital... you could not take your eyes off of them with all of that sequence.
I found this book in Barnes and Noble on the center table right when you walk in. The fact that it exists and that it was featured in the Barnes and Noble front and center made it all the better!
Guadalupe River.

Mom's bluebonnet picture. Do you see all of those turtles... it's nuts!

Weekend in Euless, Texas

I went to Euless, Tx for Memorial Day weekend. Here are a few of the pictures. Amy and Phil sporting the Texan look.

Right before the bridal shower... I forgot to take my heels off for the picture.

The cowboy hat was a very exciting accessory for the weekend.

It Rained for 3 weeks...look at Lake Ouachita!

The rain finally stopped on Saturday afternoon. So we went exploring different points of Lake Ouachita. All of the state parks and campgrounds had to cancel Memorial Day Weekend reservations because the water levels are so high that campgrouds are under water. Here are a few pictures to show the water levels. Cassie and Katie at our first stop. The water was not as high as we thought it would be.

Another road closed.

A boat ramp that is clearly underwater!

Summer Plans

I have quite a busy summer ahead of me. The next few weekends of May are packed with activities, none of which actually happen in Little Rock.

Friday, I am headed to Story, Arkansas to relax at Katie's Lake House!
Memorial Day weekend, I am headed to Dallas for Amy's Bridal Shower.
The last weekend in May, Hilary and Jared are getting married in Conway.

I will be sure to take pictures!

Blogging Begins

So it begins... I figured I would start a blog to help the family keep up with things happening in Little Rock (and partly because both sisters have one and it only seems appropriate that I have one too)!

Hopefully, I will keep up with it!
